About Caroline Conkle
Caroline Conkle has been teaching in South Florida for nine years. Her approach is creative and welcoming. She believes that making music should be a joy, not a burden, and she seeks to make that a reality in every lesson for every student.
Caroline has been a musician since before she can remember, most likely because her home was filled with music! After attending the Crane School of Music, she began teaching piano and violin in Upstate New York while raising her five children.
Throughout those years, she performed with local orchestras, including the Chamber Orchestra of Northern New York, Music Theater North, and Hershey Symphony. Caroline also directed the young children’s choir at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Newburgh, New York.
Currently, Caroline is an accompanist with the Girl Choir of South Florida, and regularly accompanies school choirs and student auditions. She sings with the choir at The Episcopal Church of St. Mary Magdalene and St. Martin, where she also accompanies on piano when needed and performs as a violin soloist.
In November of 2023, Caroline earned certification from TopMusic, an innovative organization dedicated to helping piano teachers learn updated methods for teaching today’s students!
